Who's the owner?
Matt Tessar
Hi,
There are four of us in our family. Matt and Emily are in their mid 30s and have been happily married for 8 years. We have two wonderful kids: Sofi who is an active 4.5 year old, and Sam who is 1.5. Matt is co-owner and co-founder of a software consulting company, Mobile Foundry, http://www.mobilefoundry.net with clients in Tampa, North Carolina, Denver, and LA. Emily is currently on break from her professional geographer duties and is doing a wonderful job raising Sam and Sofi. Our cat Hobbes is very mellow and really only needs fresh food every day or so.

We are very flexible about our destinations. We prefer cities that have good cultural attractions, quality mass transit, and good food.Twitter Stream

Our house is an easy drive, bus ride, or bike to downtown (~3 miles), to the University of Colorado at Boulder (~2.5 miles), and to the foothills of the Rocky Mountains (~4 miles) for hiking and rock climbing. Located on the East side of Boulder, our house has easy accessibility to Denver (~30 mins) and surrounding cities.
Boulder is a vibrant small city with an emphasis on outdoor activities- from biking and hiking to an outdoor summer farmer's market. There is a local ski area (Eldora Mountain Resort) just 45 min away on the city bus, and Colorado's famous mountain resorts (Breckinridge, Vail, Aspen etc) are about 2-3 hours away.
The neighborhood of homes that are approximately 15 years old is semi-urban, and our cul-de-sac has a pedestrian path that is well traveled because it connects our neighborhood to our local shopping center which has a good coffee shop, a sandwich shop, and a liquor store. There is a good Indian restaurant about a block away too.
